Beautiful pics of Tamara Day and Sarah Stiles feet & legs
One child was strapped onto my back as the other crawled in the playground. I spent 12 hours days, for months, sanding and taking wallpaper off, all and with just one child. Ha! The whole thing was beginning to come together but there was still a long way to go. The house would need an enormous amount of work as well as a passion of shopping. In order to stay within my budget, I started going to estate sales along with my three boys searching for gems hidden in the dirt. Our weekly routine consisted of walking from Thursday to Saturday through garage and estate sales, buying vintage and modern pieces, while I spent on weekdays painting and sanding the driveway. It was kind of similar to this... Here's where my obsession with in the process of restoring old furniture got started. Even though our home was equipped, I couldn't quit. I had a space in the market at my local location and also sold items there. Then, I ran out of numerous pieces of furniture to fit into the space available. There were open houses in my home which saw over 1 000 guests could visit in the span of a weekend. They could purchase anything they wanted in the first floor. Growing Days was created in this home. In addition to my thriving business, I also grew our family. In some ways, I found the ideal way to balance being a mom and starting my new venture. Growing Days was the obvious decision. My sweet Nora arrived in the year 2013 and was our 4th child. I loved where my business was taking me, but I felt like I needed some time off. I got away from the old furniture in order to spend more quality time with my kids. It was the right time. After some time. I was getting requests from people requesting to help with their home improvement as well as interior design. Most of them were people who visited my home during my furniture open houses. In the following months, I began to take on more clients, at my own speed. Soon I had multiple customers and was operating a business of home renovations. I'm sure you would have amused me if you had said that it would be the foundation of the DIY Network tv series. It's hilarious to look back on it.
