April Lockhart
April Lockhart is a born on July 4 in 1995. In the seventh grade she began taking guitar lessons and piano lessons. That ignited her enthusiasm to write songs. April Lockhart composed her first song"Different" at 12 years old. In her 14th year, April devoted much of her day singing and writing songs. Over the next few months, she began taking writing trips with her father in LA and NY. April added other themes to the song "Take My Hand" for a few of her the friends she had who struggled with concerns like peer pressure issues, or even teenage suicide. Lockhart also enjoys an increasing fan base as a lifestyle blogger and works for popular brand of clean and natural beauty Ilia. Born without a left hand, the woman is an important part of herself. It's however not the only thing she has to tell. Lockhart's Twitter profile does not shy away from her status as disabled, but neither does it focus on it. The message? We all have multiple aspects and that we are all unique and that we're much more than our physical selves. Lockhart talks through video from Nashville. "I do not want it to define my life. I don't want to be merely known as a disability expert. And it doesn't affect my everyday life. I go about every day as normal and have found my own way to adjust to things. Because it's an integral part of me It's a topic worthy of discussion. Lockhart is a true source of inspiration for self-acceptance in general and is currently on a lengthy road to reach this. She admits that she's been through periods of being uncomfortable with her body, at times, being unsure about wearing certain types of clothing that showed off her arms. Today, she wears anything she likes. She also posts pictures on social media. One of the keys to self-love for her is that it's not an end destination. It's a long journey. I'm sure that you never reach your destination. I believe that it's really essential to surround yourself with those who can see and know your true heart.
