Nadia Comaneci, (born November 12th of November, 1961 Gheorghe Gheorghiu Dej, (presently OnestiGheorghe Gheorghiu-Dej [now Onesti Romania) Romanian gymnast who was the first gymnast to receive a score of a perfect of 10 during the Olympic competition. Bela Karalyi was introduced to Comaneci at the age of six. Comaneci would go on to be Romania's gymnastics coach. Her first competition was at the national junior championships of 1969, finishing 13th. She was the winner in the year 1970. In 1972, during a meet of communist countries junior athletes prior to the Olympics, she won three gold medals. In 1973 and 1974, she became the junior champion in all aspects. She took home four gold medals and one silver medals in her first international competition for seniors, held in 1975. This was her first time she participated as an older senior. She was the first female ever to successfully perform reverse double saltos while dismounting from an uneven parallel bar. Carol Wayne.........................Carol Wayne was an American film and TV actor best recognized for portraying Art Fern's Tea-Time Movie Lady on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. As a teenager, she began performing in touring shows like Ice Capades as a skater together with her younger sister Nina Wayne. Carol Marie Wayne born 6 September 1942 in Chicago Illinois US. Carol started her professional career as an entertainer when she was in her teenage years. In her early years Carol was an ice figure skater for traveling shows Ice Capades with her sister Nina Wayne. Ice Capades featured performances of ice-skating by actors.
