Emily Irene VanCamp (Canadian actress) is well-known for her roles as a lead actress in numerous television shows, but also her impressive performances in film. There is a huge fanbase in American and Canadian television. Emily was first interested in acting when she saw her sibling Katie working on a film. Emily began attending classes in acting and auditioning following realizing she was passionate about acting. In the beginning, she scored a handful of commercials before being included in the Canadian children's television show Are You Are You Afraid of the Dark? where she was seen only in one scene, without any dialog. When she was 15 years old, Emily got her first big break as she was an actor on the WB show Glory Days. Emily's acting skills caught the attention from Dawson's creek's Greg Berlanti, who then cast her on his television show Everwood. Emily was also a ballet dancer as well as a photographer. Teen once named her among the best actors under the age of twenty. The Maxim's Hot 100 2014 list ranked Emily at 51.
